Free Improv Sampler at CSz Richmond Theater
Ever watched improv and thought, “That looks fun… but terrifying”? Or maybe you’re just curious what it’s all about? Whether you’re looking to break out of your shell, meet new people, or just try something new, our Free Improv Sampler is the perfect place to start. This one-time, no-pressure workshop is open to absolutely anyone—no experience needed! You’ll learn the basics of improv through simple games and exercises designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and get you laughing. Led by one of our experienced instructors, you’ll get a fun, supportive introduction to the world of improv comedy. Come as you are, bring a friend, and discover just how fun (and empowering!) unscripted play can be.
What to Expect:
- A playful, welcoming environment
- Low-stakes improv games—no performance or stage experience needed
- Tools to help you loosen up, connect with others, and trust your instincts
- Lots of laughter, movement, and creativity
Who It’s For:
- Adults (18+) of all backgrounds and comfort levels
- Absolute beginners—no improv, acting, or comedy experience required
- Anyone curious about our classes and looking to give it a try before committing
Where to meet?
- Our sampler will take place in our training center. Nestled on the 2nd floor, between Gold Gyms and Pekings (follow the signs to take the take the stairs or elevator).
