Acting and Improv for the Camera with Writer & Director John Moon (4 Week Workshop)

🎬 Ready for Your Close-Up? Step in Front of the Camera with Confidence!

Have you ever wondered what it takes to act for film and TV — and how it differs from the stage? Discover the secrets of on-camera acting in this dynamic 4-week workshop led by award-winning director, writer, producer, and actor John Moon.
In this supportive, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to deliver authentic, compelling performances on camera, avoiding the “stagey” habits that don’t translate to film. You’ll get practical tools for working with scene partners, boosting your confidence, and adapting your style to a medium that rewards subtlety and truthfulness. We’ll also explore on-set etiquette and audition techniques to help you feel at home in the professional world.
Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned stage performer, you’ll gain powerful skills to level up your craft — including a taste of improv (no experience needed!) to keep you flexible and present on set.

Class meets Sundays from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm starting August 3 at the CSz Richmond Training Center.

  • ⚡ Enrollment is limited to just 12 participants to ensure maximum on-camera time. Secure your spot before it’s gone!
  • 👉 Join John Moon — a master with over 50 years of experience, a Columbia University directing graduate, and the director of more than 200 plays — for this unforgettable on-camera experience!
