🎭 ComedySportz® Improv Summer Camp at CSz Richmond Theater

A Week of Laughter, Learning, and Big Confidence!

Give your child the gift of creativity and connection this summer! ComedySportz Improv Summer Camp is a high-energy experience where kids build confidence, express themselves, and have a blast through interactive games and scene work. Over five fun-filled days, campers explore the fundamentals of improv in a supportive, inclusive environment—learning to trust their instincts, think on their feet, and shine on stage and beyond.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily
🍎 Lunch & Snacks: Please send a brown bag lunch and two snacks each day. Note: We are a nut-free camp—no peanut or tree nut products, please.

What They’ll Learn:

In Characters Improv Camp, young performers will dive into the art of creating bold, believable, and hilarious characters from scratch. Through improv games, scene work, and physical exploration, campers will learn how to develop characters using voice, movement, emotion, and point of view.

They’ll practice jumping into new personas on the fly, exploring how characters react in different situations and relationships. Whether they’re a grumpy wizard, a nervous astronaut, or a talking sandwich, campers will discover how to make strong choices that are fun to play—and fun to watch.

By the end of the week, they’ll feel confident slipping into any role, building characters that support the scene and spark laughter and connection.
